[September 7] Vote and/or make suggestions:
Here's our first stained-glass design for our kitchen cabinets. The colors of the pieces cannot be accurately rendered because we have not bought the glass. The framing design is the same as our sliding glass door and the center pattern is from another piece I made earlier. Opinions please. (You can click on the photo to enlarge.)
I found this online. I think it is brilliant:
Which then reminded me that we did this one:
[September 1] Hmmm. The whole weekend was whirlwind. Friday night J & I left for Galion. We got there at midnite. We were in Klumbis by 8:00 for the OSU vs Youngstown game where we met up with J&B (&C&D&E). Watch this and then look at this. Finished off that great city with some good German food at Schmidt's Restaurant (Toby's going to be there in November during a National Convention). Had a late evening visit with L&C and were back on the road again at 8 to visit with our Charm family. We arrived at their church at 10:30 after an unintentioned tour of the country and township roads.
We enjoyed every waking minute doing, watching, talking, singing, eating, photographing, visiting, laughing, and seeing. We got to tour Coblenz chocolates to see T's new job. It was so tasty and so fun. Back to Galion with a quick visit with Aunt R., L&C again where I took some great photos of Rachel (soon to be posted) and back to Illinois.
Got home about 9, unpacked, slept and awoke to the Real World. Over this week I will be uploading some of the vids and photos to share with everybody.
I just LOVE my sunflower photos!
